Job Opportunity
Fulltime year round preschool/daycare managed by a board of parents in Bear Valley, CA is seeking a qualified teacher for administrative and educational duties. Due to the resort nature of our community and businesses, program operates 5 days a week through weekends (We.-Sun.) and most holidays. Excellent opportunity for independent work, creative program development, and community involvement.
Teacher: These items can either be already
complete, or we will assist with them.
CPR certified; Mandated reporter training; BA or 12 ECE units;
Current/Clear LiveScan; Professional growth conferences/meetings.
TEACHER DUTIES
* Supervise all children
* Help plan and implement monthly curriculum
* Plan and implement art activities
* Prepare/organize snack and lunch
* Assist children with toileting
* Change and feed infants
* Complete daily cleaning chart
* Actively engage in all activities (biking/art/circle time/free play)
* Assist with parent conferences
* Assist with monthly attendance reporting
* Complete incident reports when applicable
* Communicate with parents and staff
* Assist with field trip preparation and implementation
* Pack up supplies and move school when necessary
Details: Fulltime or part time, year round; school schedule includes weekends and holidays due to resort nature of Bear Valley community. Salary based on education and experience. Position starts August 1, 2007.
